Twenty-three years of reading sleep, applied to your lab.
SleepScore LLC provides sleep lab consulting, AASM-compliant sleep study scoring, and CPSGT / RPSGT exam-prep training — led by a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist who has worked the night shift, run the lab, and sat in the compliance meetings.

"Built on 23 years at the bedside — not a business plan."
SleepScore LLC was founded in 2025, but the experience behind it goes back to 2003. Its founder has worked as a sleep technologist, a pediatric sleep lab director, a sleep lab manager, and a business development lead.
That background includes the classroom as well as the lab: four years teaching at Collin College and two years as a PSG instructor and program coordinator at Concorde Career College — and that teaching hasn't stopped, it just continues today through SleepScore's own CPSGT training program. It also includes hands-on experience directing a pediatric sleep lab, where scoring standards and patient handling differ meaningfully from an adult program. He holds active credentials as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT, 2008), a Registered Sleep Lab Consultant, and a Six Sigma Black Belt, alongside a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science.
That range — clinical, operational, educational, and process improvement — is why SleepScore works the way it does: scoring done the way a lab director would want it done, consulting grounded in what actually happens on a night shift, and training built by someone who has stood in front of a PSG classroom, not just passed the exam.
SleepScore is a new company. The experience behind it isn't.
Three services. One standard.
We lead with lab consulting because it's where an operational and clinical background adds the most value — but scoring and training are full, standalone services. Most clients start with whichever one solves today's problem.

Not sure which one you need? Start with a call — most engagements begin with a short conversation about what's actually slowing your lab down, not a sales pitch for a specific service.
From no experience to job-ready sleep tech in about six months
No healthcare background required. This is a complete, personally mentored path to becoming CPSGT-eligible and getting hired — not just an exam-prep course.
BRPT-approved coursework
Delivered through our partner, First Sleep School — a Texas Workforce Commission–approved school and BRPT STAR provider — meeting CPSGT exam-eligibility requirements.
Hands-on mentorship
Direct, one-on-one training and exam prep — the way an experienced tech would bring on someone they were personally mentoring.
Interview coaching
Support through the CPSGT exam and the job-interview process, until you're placed.
We don't take your data. We come to where it already lives.
There's no upload, no email, no file transfer. A technologist scores your studies by remoting into a workstation inside your own lab — the PHI never crosses a wire to us. Here's exactly how that works.
Sleep study files uploaded, emailed, or stored on a SleepScore system — ever. Scoring happens on equipment inside your building, on your network. We connect to it; we don't take data from it.
Your studies stay in your building
We set up a dedicated scoring workstation inside your lab, on your network, running your own software. The study never leaves the premises.
We connect to you, not the other way around
Your assigned technologist reaches that workstation through enterprise remote-access software configured for HIPAA-compliant use, over an encrypted session, and scores directly in your existing system.
A signed BAA, before the first session
Remotely viewing PHI is still access to PHI. We execute a Business Associate Agreement before the first connection is ever made — not paperwork we get to eventually.
Only your assigned technologist can connect
Remote credentials to your lab's scoring station are limited to the technologist assigned to your account — no one else at SleepScore can reach it.
This walks through the scoring service specifically, since that's where PHI access is most direct. Consulting and training engagements are scoped individually with your team and typically involve far less direct data access.
A workstation, inside your lab
We help set up a dedicated scoring computer on your network, running your own scoring software. This happens once, before any studies are scored.
SleepScore's RPSGT remotes into the station to score
Your assigned RPSGT — a SleepScore technologist — connects directly to that workstation over a secure, HIPAA-compliant remote session and scores against the current AASM Scoring Manual. The study itself never moves.
Report ready, right where it should be
The finished report is ready for the ordering physician in your own system — the same way it would be if your own staff had scored it.
SleepScore LLC operates as a Business Associate under HIPAA, not a covered entity. Because scoring happens on your own equipment inside your own network, studies are never stored, transmitted, or retained on any SleepScore system. We're glad to walk your compliance team through our remote-access setup and BAA before you sign anything. Have questions specific to your lab's requirements? Contact us directly.
Straightforward pricing. No lock-in.
A quote, not a rate card
Pricing reflects your study volume, study types, and turnaround needs — not a single published number that fits nobody's lab exactly.
No long-term contracts
Month-to-month by default. You stay because the work holds up, not because you signed a multi-year term.
No hidden fees
The quote you get is the quote you pay. Onboarding and standard reporting are included, not billed separately.
Volume-friendly
Per-study scoring rates are structured to improve as your monthly volume grows.
